About Enigma

Enigma helps you show up when buyers ask AI which vendor to choose

  • Built for measurable presence, not vanity mentions: we separate a mention from a citation from real influence on the answer, because only the last one moves a decision.
  • Findings become a backlog, not a dashboard: every recommendation names the page, the block and the check that proves it worked.
  • Every claim carries its source: the playbook, the research and the product pages cite a catalogue of 84 academic, official and industry sources — and say plainly where the evidence stops.
  • Built by someone who does the work: the checks in the product are the ones our founder runs by hand for clients today.

On a mission to make B2B brands the source AI recommends

AI changed how buyers pick a vendor. They used to search Google, open a dozen tabs and assemble a shortlist by hand. Now they ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, and the shortlist arrives already written. Enigma exists for one question: when that answer is written, is the source behind it your page or your competitor’s? We answer it with repeated measurement rather than promises — the odds of being cited can be improved, inclusion cannot be guaranteed.

Symon Baikov

Founder, Enigma

Symon works hands-on in search and AI visibility: technical audits, crawler access, content structure, and repeated measurement of how a brand appears in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and AI Overviews. Not strategy decks — the actual pages and the actual robots.txt.

Day to day he works at a performance marketing agency whose work has generated more than $15M in revenue for its clients. That is the agency’s client result, not Enigma’s: this product is pre-launch and has no revenue claims of its own to make.

Enigma grew directly out of that practice. The audit he was repeating by hand for every client — which agents can reach the page, which passages get extracted, which source the model cited instead of yours — is what the product automates.

How it works

Four steps, in the order they actually pay off. Skipping the first one is why most AI-visibility work stalls.

Access

Check which agents can reach the page at all. GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and Googlebot are separate decisions, and robots.txt, the CDN and the WAF often disagree with what the team intended.

Measure

Run the same prompt clusters across models and dates, and keep mention, citation and absorption apart. One run is an observation, not a position — the metric is a distribution.

Diagnose

Find where the influence is lost: the passage that never gets retrieved, the claim with no evidence beside it, the competitor’s page the model cited instead of yours.

Act

Turn findings into a backlog with an owner: the page, the block to rewrite, the source to add, and the prompt that will show whether it worked on the next run.
